Christmas Rose For Your Winter GardenAs soon as it gets cold, our gardens become empty and dull.

Why not consider adding color and brightness to your garden in winter? This can be done by considering winter plants.  Plant cool climate plants that can survive in the winter.

One of the plants that will blossom in your winter garden is the Camellia. It produces pink, white and red blossoms in winter and early spring.

Consider also winter roses for your winter garden. There are a lot of roses that resist cool climate.

What about planting  Hellebores which is alternatively referred to as winter rose? There are a number of varieties and species of Hellebores, the most recognized one being H. Orientalis.

Helleborus are extremely resistant to cold weather. They have an appealing foliage and in addition, are weatherproof. They easily resist frost, snow and cold temperatures.  Flowers are white, pale yellow or green.

In case you decide to plant Christmas Rose select a place with  much sunlight. Plant them under deciduous trees. Also check roses so that they are not weakened by fungal diseases, drought and insects.

So make your winter garden vibrant and lively with winter roses.
