Every year on October 31 we all celebrate Halloween with great enthusiasm. No other holiday is filled with so much joy, horror, noise, smiles and laughter.
When thinking about Halloween, we imagine curved horrible pumpkins that seem to conceal some secret in themselves. Halloween is a very old holiday, so people claim that the mysteriously burning pumpkins tell us the secrets of ancient times.
All people, in spite of their age and interests, wear Halloween costumes and spend a happy and adventurous day.
There is still much time left for Halloween to once again fill our streets with joy and horror, but I have already started looking for an interesting and impressive Halloween costume. Fortunately there is a wide range of ideas on the market. There are costumes meant for both children and grown-ups. I even get confused by the diversity of costume choices.
This year I want to be a little bit different. Compared to my previous years’ happy and colorful costumes I’ve decided to look scary this time. Last week I ran into a very cute vampire costume. It was really very, very frightful: a long black coat with a cowl and a mask. The mask was pale with reddish eyes and huge canine teeth.
The costume costs a great deal of money, but I am thinking of getting it. Why not take revenge on those who nearly scared me to death last Halloween?
