It’s 7 am — time to wake up and go to work. You open the wardrobe and… it’s those same old tired suits.
Are you tired of putting on the same type of business suits every day? Does the dress code of your workplace allow you to be a bit more creative? Then try to be more quirky. Replace your formal suits with sport coats or blazers.
Sport coats are the perfect alternatives as they allow you to be more creative and flexible. They speak more openly of your personality, preferences and your style of life. The sport coat encompasses both casual flair and class. So, if you have a date or a party right after work, a sport coat will be handy.
Suits demand to fit perfectly and are often made-to-order. That’s cool, it’s the way things should be. However, they are not always comfortable when you want to make quick, free movements. For example, when you are tired you want to stretch your arms, but tight-fitting business suits may even get torn if you do that.
The sport coat also needs to fit your body-build, but it is comparably loose. So, you will be more free to move in them.
Remember that sport coats look great with jeans. But if denim is forbidden at your office, then your usual dress pants will look good as well. Just make sure the colors of the jacket and pants don’t clash.
If you have hard time matching shades, remember the following: dark pants go with the light coats, and vise versa. For example, if your pants are light gray, then either a black or a charcoal gray coat will look nice. If you have a brown coat, then you should put on khakis.
Keep in mind that black dress pants will go with just about any color in your closet.
So, choose to be versatile with sport coats or classy with business suits. Feel confident no matter what you wear.
