Chinese Clothing Reflects Creativity

Clothing indeed speaks much about a country. Moreover, it is an inherent part of its culture.
China is a cosmopolitan country and different nations have had their influence on Chinese clothing. Perhaps that’s the reason that clothing in China is colorful and abundant.
The Chinese are distinguished by their original, creative and plentiful dressing. Chinese clothing is remarkable for its graceful designs evoking promise and philosophical poetic verse.
Over time Chinese clothing has undergone various variations. Today Chinese fashionable and trendy clothing consists of a combination of traditional and modern designs.
Chinese women wear several traditional styles of Chinese clothing, including the qui pao dress, which features a long, sleek cut and commonly has floral patterns stitched on the fabric. That Chinese dress is also known as a cheongsam. Other styles of Chinese dress include the shen-i and pien-fu.
Various designs are depicted on Chinese clothes, namely dragons, clouds and lightning. Furthermore, Chinese clothing often carries butterflies since they are the symbol of everlasting love in China.
Colors of clothing has a specific meaning for Chinese. The Chinese are endowed with the ability to match, coordinate and contrast light and dark colors and hues. Bright colors are in vogue in China. The color red is symbolic of good fortune and bliss.
