Cashmere is known as one of the softest clothing materials. It is a high quality, yet expensive fabric. It is silky, lightweight, comfortable and durable.
It is the material that suits well with casual outfits and elegant clothes. Cashmere coats don’t look bulky. They are thin, but they keep you very warm in winter and cool in spring. You can wear sweaters underneath it without fearing that you’ll look like a penguin.
A cashmere coat usually takes your shape and doesn’t stress the imperfections of your body.
Cashmere needs a special care, in order to keep it’s soft and luxurious texture.
Wash cashmere garments in lukewarm water with the help of hair shampoo. First let the shampoo dissolve in the water then put the garment in it. Don’t hang them on the hangers, just wrap it in a tissue and put on a flat place. But before you try washing your cashmere garments that way, read the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions on the label first.
When the season ends put the cashmere garments in a cool, dry place.
It is not advisable to wear cashmere garments with metal bracelets, necklaces, belts and leather bags. Try to wear pearl accessories and a silk scarfs, which will protect your cashmere garment from dust and cosmetic stains.
By the way, cashmere usually doesn’t cause irritations or allergies.
Cashmere garments are worth the price paid for them, as they last long and look very beautiful.
