Bomber Jacket: Its A Sin Not To Have OneDo you feel extraordinary but look like a simpleton? Bomber jackets are here to change that.

“Fashion changes, style remains.” If you agree with this famous quote by fashion legend Coco Chanel, then you will also agree that bomber jackets are stylish and not just fashionable.

Bomber jackets are not simple jackets, they have their history. The name “bomber” probably comes from the name of military aircraft, designed mainly for dropping bombs. The history of bomber jacket goes back to the period of the First World War.

Bomber jackets were first used by pilots to keep them warm and safe from cold weather and shifts in temperature. During the First World War the cockpits of most airplanes were not fully closed and fixed as they are nowadays. Of course this may sound like a joke but it’s true–bomber jackets were the only means to prevent the pilots from freezing. So it is not surprising that they were first called flight jackets.

Bomber jackets differ due to their unique design: fitted waist, cuffs and pockets. Initially they were made of heavy leather or nomex, but today they are purchasable in a variety of materials and colors, although traditional colors remain black or brown. Among different types of bomber jacket are A2 bomber jackets, G1 Navy Flight Jackets, B15 Bomber jackets and G2 Raiders. A bomber jacket will keep you warm from rain, wind and cold. If you want to distinguish yourself from the crowd buy a bomber jacket– it will give you a fighting spirit.

I think that jackets that once saved thousands of lives deserve the right to have their unique place in the history and world of fashion.
