'The Pale King' Coming In 2010One of the most anticipated books of the following year, the unfinished novel by David Foster Wallace titled “The Pale King,” will be published in 2010 by Little, Brown and Company.

Wallace, one of the most influential American authors and the winner of many literary awards, is famous for his novels and non fiction books. One of his most famous books “Infinite Jest” (1996) was included in the list of 100 best English-language novels by Time magazine.

Wallace began to write his third novel, “The Pale King,” in 2000, but the novel wasn’t predestined to be finished. Suffering from a deep long-lasting depression, the writer committed suicide in September 2008, when he was only 46 years old. His death was a great loss for his fans. Maybe the posthumous novel which was put together by the publishers from the lots of draft notes, left after the death of Wallace and found by his wife, will comfort them a bit.

“The Pale King” is mainly about IRS (Internal Revenue Service) agents of Illinois who try to overcome the boredom of their monotonous job and life. Wallace took accounting courses so he could understand and feel the topic of his novel better.

“The Pale King” is thought to be a very ambitious and interesting book, so don’t miss it!
