A Candle For Dinner

A Candle For DinnerAre you in a candle store to buy a candle for dinner and don’t know which one to choose? Don’t get upset!

Every person would get lost standing among these small sources of fire that are capable of creating romantic illusions and feelings. What makes a candle attractive for you is its flame. A thing which you always search for in your partners.

The larger the choice of candles, the harder your choice will be. You will certainly come across questions like which type of candle to buy, how long it will burn and scented or unscented. Almost every candle store will offer you large variety of the following four types of candles: pillar, votive, taper and floating.

Pillar candles may be egg-shaped, square or heart-shaped. They are made to burn evenly. They are usually put into a glass vase and are often scented.

Votive candles are small and mostly white. They are used mainly in churches and are very long-burning.

Taper candles are an excellent decoration for the piano, the corners in your house and dinner tables. These candles give a romantic and imaginary expression to your table. A five-inch long taper candle can burn for almost three hours. Use a special candle holder when you burn them to prevent damage to the surface it’s placed on.

Floating candles are very nice. They are used for weddings and other special occasions. They can also be a good decoration for your house. Some people even have floating candles in their bathrooms since they create a very relaxing and mysterious atmosphere.

Then you will have to consider the burn time. Pay great attention to this, because it wouldn’t be nice if your candle burned out before dinner wasn’t over.

When you enter  a candle store you at once feel the enchanting scent of hundreds of candles. But don’t forget that you are looking for a dinner candle. So buy an unscented one. Why? Because it is for dinner and extra scents can be irritating for your partner and even cause a loss of appetite.

So, I advise you to buy a taper candle of about 20 inches (so that you don’t need to look after it)  for your dinner. And I am sure you will fully enjoy your dinner in the warm and tender light of that elegant piece of wax.
